Hello! My name is Clara and I am here to help you unlock your inner writer. I love to write, and truly enjoy working with students of all ages at all phases of their writing process. Whether you would like help with creative writing, academic writing, or just another set of eyes to review your work, I would love to assist you in whatever way you need. I work patiently and gently, and I promise to make it fun! I will guide you to find your clarity, or -- in other words, claraty! -- in your writing journey.

I know allowing another person to review your work can be stressful, and I will work with you gently and patiently to bring out your best writing.

We will go through your work in whatever way you need. I am happy to help you generate ideas, workshop pieces already written, or sensitively offer my feedback if desired.

You may dread writing and re-writing. But please don't! We will make it fun and I promise we will laugh and keep it lighthearted while we work together. The best writing happens when the process is enjoyable, not laborious!

Essay Development and Review
I enjoy academic writing and am available to help you with all kinds of essays, term papers, and projects you may encounter. I can help with ideation, development, structure, clarity, and revision. I will ensure that your work not only answers your rubric, but says what you want it to say. Together we will produce writing that is clear, well-founded, and thorough in its analysis.
Creative Writing Support
I love creative writing! I write short stories and poetry myself, and I fully understand the joy of watching the ideas that are in your mind and heart materialize on the page. I am also fully acquainted with getting "stuck" in writing and feeling frustrated that a piece of work isn't going the way you wish. I am here to hold your hand through the struggle as well as celebrate writing that you love.
Mentoring
I am here to encourage and support you every step of the way. Through one-on-one mentorship, I will help you build confidence, navigate challenges, and develop your best writer-self. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel understood, capable, and proud of your progress.
